Sunny Bank Wishes is the brainchild and absolute labour of love, of it's owner Michelle (me). I live in Churchtown, with my husband, 4 children and 2 dogs. My small business means so much to me, and I am so thankful you have chosen to find out more about it.

I'm a photographer (you can see some of my photographs below, all taken here at Sunny Bank Wishes), designer and thoughtful gift maker (amongst other things). I created Sunny Bank Wishes so that I could work from home to care for my family. I wanted to create more of the cards and gift boxes I had been making and gifting to people, as I kept being asked to purchase them ... and here we are today, also including items from other carefully selected businesses too!

What's with the name and logo? Well ... Sunny Bank is where I live, and my youngest child is making a wish with the dandelion seeds turning into stars (it's her real silhouette in the logo). I think it feels wonderful to make a wish on a dandelion, or wish upon a star, no matter how old you are! The heart represents how everything I make is made with love, and that sending best wishes, birthday wishes etc, from my home to yours, is such a loving blessing for me.

I still get so happy when someone purchases a card or print with one of my original photographs or designs on, it's a magical feeling. For transparency, if a card or print has one of my photographs or designs on it will say in the description, if not, it contains licensed images I have purchased to produce the design. If a card is from another artist or designer it will be clearly shown.
I feel so honoured to share with you other businesses and products I adore. Having always loved the products from the company East of India, and I was thrilled to be accepted as one of their representatives in 2022.

A selection of bereavement cards and gifts, was very important to me. It touches my heart, when someone tells me how much a gift meant to their recipient. It is the main reason why I created Sunny Bank Wishes, to help bring even just a tiny bit of comfort to those grieving the loss of a dear loved one or beloved pet.

I am now proudly including gifts that enhance our wellbeing and mental health, as someone who has suffered with their mental health in the past, this was extra special to me. Free downloads and printables are also now available and I am starting my blog soon, which will contain things ranging from what to say in a bereavement card, how to meditate and how to start a Journal ... to how to make your own eco friendly crafts!
In 2023 I made the decision to go plastic free on all our products and packaging, as I wanted to do my bit to help reduce plastic pollution within my business. Click on the Plastic Free Champion logo above for further information.
So, however you got here, thank you so much for visiting my website and supporting my business.
